Vibrant Instruments is a proposition for contemplating alternative modes of care. Inspired by acts of self-care, the use of vibrators in this work proposes an allyship between humans and soil to consider the ways in which penetration is weaponized to violate and exploit bodies and, in turn, reimagine the same gesture as a method of providing health care to the soil by aerating it with vibrators.
